Since childhood I’ve been a very curious and inquisitive person who loved problem solving. I wanted to know the who, what, when, and why of situations. This led me to approach people and problems with curiosity and wonder. I have always enjoyed seeing people grow and learn. I started to notice the disconnect between current and desired behavior. These mental curiosities lead to my career as an educator. I wanted to be a part of that transformation process. Helping build a bridge to future enhanced performance. I take that natural curiosity and love for problem solving into my career as an instructional designer and e-learning developer. I help companies build learning solutions and find ways to improve performance.
I earned a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas A&M. I further honed my skills during a 9 month Applied Instructional Design Academy.
In my free time I love spending time in nature, traveling, do it yourself projects, and hanging out with my family. I spend so much time with my yard that I actually named him “Reggie.” He is struggling in the hot Texas weather but he’s hanging in there. I am very much a family person. My three sons have turned into wonderful young adults. I’m proud of my two Eagle Scouts and my Band kid. I love hosting family gatherings. Making people feel seen, appreciated, and welcomed is one of my favorite activities.
